About Tola Anjorin

I am a very talented IT professional (really, i wonna be a pro!) with skills covering several areas of computing.

I was lucky to use computers when there was no mouse, thanks to my Dad and Nathan. I became a Microsoft Certified Professional in 2006 and i am presently a Microsoft Certified System Administrator and a Cisco Certified Network Associate. I hold a bachelor of science degree in Computer Information System from Babcock University, Crystal Class '09 where i finished best in my class and overall best in my department, which earned me some awards. (Interestingly, i missed a first class by 0.02. Thanks to y'all). I was the president of my department (Babcock University Computer Club) 08/09 and i spent most of time in the university developing solutions (with Adedire Bunmi) to solve one problem or the other, which resulted to me loving up with a semester to go (now, thats a joke).

Now out of school, i spend time with my friends developing RIA solutions with Flex and Coldfusion (one thing i don't do well is interface design, but thanks to Bunmi Adedire). I spend other time looking for books online (free downloads, you know) and posting comments/questions on different blogs.

Outside computers, i enjoy playing games especially Pro Evolution (sometimes on my laptop), watching movies like 24 and Prison Break (mostly on my laptop) and reading (usually on my laptop). I love music too, it keeps me going. Plus i try to hang out with my friends.

The best part of me is my love for technology and its application for business. I love to see technologies fuse and my analysis skill is always a plus to my team, and i think "nut" sometimes.

To be sincere, i really love System Administration and Networking, although i get my hands dirty with RIA development and databases. I really can't wait for a job or something to bring my love back.

One last thing you should know about me is, i love to train... simply put i wonna learn. So feel free to invite me to any training, you could make it a courtesy.

About the site.

This site is primarily for two purposes. To create an avenue to network with other individuals via my blog and contact, and also to serve as a lab where i can test my applications and ideas.

I hope to keep the site up-to-date as much i can, and blog on new things i come across.

I must thank specially my friend Ajibola Busari for his help. Thank you bro.
